Well, actually, the snow melted mostly on Monday. But the last few dribs and drabs will melt away today when the temperature gets up around 50F for sure!
Hours later, and sure enough the temps are getting up there, and the last of the stubborn snow has disappeared. It was pretty while it lasted.
Of course, snow means we make an extra effort to get supplemental feed out to the critters that call Gypsy Ridge Wildlife Sanctuary home. Kernel corn for the deer, bird seed and peanuts for the birds and smaller mammals. It's beautiful thing to know we are helping to make sure all God's creatures are okay through the very cold nights, and snowy days.
Stay warm everyone. Stay safe!
